It has been a busy 10 days for Coriander since I last posted and we’ve just finished 2 great Indian wedding events at Hillbark Hotel and the Mere Golf Club. We all had a great time and it was a pleasure to work with the clients. Catering at both venues is such a thrill for the chefs as the quality of the equipment is always top notch and the support offered by the venues is excellent.
Following on from the last post about which locations in England, Wales and Scotland we cater at; I have decided to let you all know what cuisines our chefs offer. On the menu we state that we cater mainly North Indian food but we do actually cook a large variety of cuisines. I have listed these below:
Indian Catering – All regions such as Punjabi, Gujarati, South Indian, Jain, Kashmiri and Bengali.
Indo-Chinese Catering – Dishes created by Chinese chefs in India. Dishes such as Chilli Chicken, Garlic Chilli Fish, Manchurian’s and Hakka Noodles to name a few.
Pakistani Halal Catering – All the food we cook is Halal. We cover all regions and offer dishes such as Haleem and Nihari.
Sri Lankan Catering – This cuisine has been very popular and cover all dishes such as Hoppers, Cutlets, Curries and Sambhal’s.
We are launching a new menu in January with a range of new unique dishes created by our chefs, so keep an eye out. I’ve already seen the chefs experimenting but not had a tasting session yet…sooo looking forward to that!
Coriander has another busy few days this weekend with some Indian catering events in Birmingham, Glasgow and the one I’m looking forward to the most is a small fine dining event for 26 people. Really looking forward to the fine dining as we have created an exclusive tasting menu so should be a lot of fun for the chefs, me and especially the diners.
That’s it for this update,
